Henley-Putnam University Student Veteran
​MISSION

Mission:
The mission of the Henley-Putnam Chapter of the Student Veterans’ Association is to provide eligible student Veterans, Active Servicepersons, Reservists, National Guard Members, and Veterans with disabilities with the support and resources for academic success, promote a safe and non-judgmental place for members to connect, and be a strong advocate on behalf of veterans.
 

GOALS

  • Organize a cohesive veteran service association on the Henley-Putnam virtual campus.

  • Create and promote camaraderie amongst the Henley-Putnam student population, eligible student Veterans, Active Servicepersons, Reservists, National Guard Members , and Veterans with disabilities.

  • Connect members of the association to resources necessary to be successful in obtaining a college education.

  • Identify challenges for members in achieving their academic goals.

  • Serve as the primary voice for members on the Henley-Putnam virtual campus.

  • Provide networking opportunities for members to achieve academic and career growth.

  • Support the transition from veteran to student at all levels of education.

  • Offer information to members on topics such as: academic success, leadership opportunities, and Veterans Administration (VA) benefits.

VALUE PROPOSITION

  • Our organization is the overarching student veterans’ organization on the Henley-Putnam virtual campus.

  • We provide leadership, information, support, and camaraderie for all veterans on the virtual Henley-Putnam School of Strategic Security's campus.

  • We provide this support for the betterment of military-affiliated students seeking to obtain their educational goals.

  • If successful, this organization will help all Henley-Putnam School of Strategic Security's veterans complete their educational goals and college degrees.

Membership open to all eligible student Veterans, Active Servicepersons, Reservists, National Guard Members, and Veterans with disabilities actively enrolled at Henley-Putnam School of Strategic Security at National American University.  FREE!
